I am soooo excited about tonights blog post on the maternity photo session with Sandy & her sweet little family!
If you are sitting here wondering why the people in the pictures look so familiar its because I was honored enough to capture their wedding day back in August. By the way, this was my very first wedding EVER! (Click here for wedding blog)And because of that, these sweet people will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Meet Mom-to-be Sandy & Her Husband Randy
In case you forgot this sweet couple, let me take a second to introduce them to you…The Beautiful Mom-to-be is Sandy along with Dad-to-be, Randy (who will be a first time dad besides his sweet step daughter Quinn). Last but not least, their beautiful and sassy daughter Quinn. Who by the way, if you ever met, is such a trip, she reminds me of my best friend Julia and conveniently I found out that they share the same birthday! I guess horoscopes can have some truth to them pertaining to personalities haha.
It was so exciting to find out they were pregnant! I was especially excited since her sister, Robin (whom I just adore btw), got Sandy a Newborn Lifestyle Session as a baby shower gift. This is such a cool timeline of photos. From the Wedding to their Maternity photo session and then their Newborn session?! I mean come on! 🙂 Which by the way is right around the corner! EEEK!
Day of the Maternity Photo Session
Anyways, we started out at Ott’s Green house Nursery for their maternity photo session, which is AMAZING! if you ever get a chance to just go, GO! its super cool I felt like I was at a nature preserve center. From the bridge up top to the indoor pond, plus the plants and greenery, there were colors EVERYWHERE. it was just a super cool experience that I just won’t ever forget. Seriously go check it out!
Then weeks leading up to the photoshoot I kept saying to Sandy I wanted Cherry Blossom tress. Like I was seriously obsessed with the idea…but to no avail we couldn’t really find any that were nice. If they were really nice, they were on someones private property, which started to bum me out. BUT Sandy came through in a big way, she found me a spot with a cherry blossom tree! I was soooo incredibly happy. And I got to capture photos of the dress in the wind(which as showed i posted a behind the scenes of how we got that to happen LOL. That’s for you Randy and Quinn!)
Now I leave you to take a peak at these photos, and I invite you back in a few weeks when I post their newborn session.
